Team Rubicon, a veteran-led disaster response organization, utilizes local volunteers to assist with crisis clean up. To volunteer, email RFI@teamrubiconusa.org.

Samaritan’s Purse (located at Port City Community Church)

Assistance with non-emergency cleanup from flooding, tree and debris removal, tarp replacements, and dry wall repairs.

Crisis Cleanup Help
If you need help cleaning up your home, Crisis Cleanup can assist in making the connection between volunteer agencies that are qualified and able to assist you with your cleanup needs. Call (800) 451-1954 or visit crisiscleanup.org. The hotline is open for New Hanover County residents until November 2.


Energy Neighbor Fund – Bill Pay Assistance
The Duke Energy Neighbor Fund assists individuals who have received either a Final Notice or a Cutoff Notice. Please visit the New Hanover County Department of Social Services, located at 1650 Greenfield St, Wilmington, for bill pay assistance. No appointment is needed.
